How We Treat Readers

Five promises, and where they came from.

When I was a kid in Blythe, California, I watched a whole class learn to pick on the same few kids. Crypto works the same way. The newest people get picked off by a fake airdrop, or by a "support agent" who messaged them first. Most people watch it happen and scroll on.

DeFi Market Journal is for the people getting picked off. So here's how we work.

We give first

The checklists, the guides and the Sunday Briefing are free. You don't owe us anything for them.

We don't tell you what to buy

No price calls. No coin tips. If someone pays us to run something, it says Sponsored at the top. If we have a connection to a project, the page says so. See About for the full list of our connections.

We write for the newest person in the room

If a guide only makes sense to people who already know the subject, it's a bad guide, and we rewrite it.

We check the knot

Climbers check each other's knots before anyone leaves the ground. That's the knot in our logo. We check the claims, the contracts and the people behind a project before we tell you about it. When we get something wrong, we fix it on the page and say what changed.

We never sell your email

One click leaves the list, any time. Our privacy policy names everyone who handles your details.

If something here doesn't hold up, tell me: news@defimarketjournal.com or the contact form. I read every message.
