Real support never DMs you first. Last time it was fake USDT mining. Here are three more tricks. One: flash USDT. It's fake Tether that shows up in a wallet but can't be cashed out. One seller offered it for as little as half a cent on the dollar. Two: fake support. You complain online and "Tether support" replies in minutes asking for your recovery phrase. That's a thief. Three: "your USDT is frozen, pay to unfreeze." In one Justice Department case, a victim paid $1.6 million in fake fees and got nothing. Tether really can freeze USDT, but it does that with the FBI and the courts, on scammers' wallets. Nobody legit charges you to unfreeze your own money. Has a fake support account ever messaged you? No. It may show a balance in a wallet or on a fake block explorer, but it is not real Tether and no exchange will cash it out. Anyone selling it is running the scam on you.

No. Real support never DMs you first and never asks for your recovery phrase. Report the account and block it.
