Robert Stone is the editor and founder of DeFi Market Journal, where he covers decentralized finance, crypto markets and the creator economy forming around NFTs. He is also Deputy Editor of Crypto Magazine, has spent 18 years in PR, and bought his first bitcoin in 2011. He writes from Belen, New Mexico.

His writing focuses on explaining how DeFi protocols, market mechanics and on-chain systems actually work. No jargon, and none of the hype that fills most crypto media. He also covers the practical side of NFTs: how creators actually publish art, music, books and video on-chain.

Robert also owns and runs two other sites: WebmastersPost, which teaches website owners, and DeskOwls, which does marketing for local businesses. DeFi Market Journal is run independently and never promotes either one. If we ever cover a company Robert has a stake in, the story will say so.
